Welcome to Almar Surf & Skate!
ALMAR Surf & Skate A.C. is a nonprofit civil association based in Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit, Mexico.
We work toward a future in which children and young people can access sports, positive learning experiences and opportunities to participate in their community, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Through skateboarding, surfing, community collaboration and our long-term commitment to safety and wellbeing, we aim to create welcoming spaces where young people can try new things, learn at their own pace and connect with others.

ALMAR is currently in a development and rebuilding phase. Our skateboarding and surfing activities take place irregularly, depending on available resources, equipment, local coordination and partnerships.
We want to build a more sustainable foundation before expanding our activities. We are working toward stronger local partnerships, more reliable support and programs that can be delivered safely and consistently.
What we do!
Sports and youth development
We organize occasional skateboarding and surfing activities for local children and young people. Our focus is on access, participation, safety, cooperation and the joy of learning — not competition or performance.
Community and environmental awareness
We have also participated in community clean-up activities connected with Higuera Blanca and Litibú. We believe caring for the places where we live and play is an important part of community wellbeing.
Safety and prevention
Our long-term objectives include contributing to community safety through first-aid, rescue and water-safety education, as well as supporting the healthy development of young people through sport.
